Secretary

Amy Barker
Amy and her husband, Jerry,  moved to Shingletown in 2017 to be near family and enjoy our backyard gem, the Lassen National Park. Serving the community is important to Amy & Jerry. You will often see them picking up trash along Ritts Mill & Thatcher Mill Road.  A year ago, Amy was appointed by the current Water Board and believes it is her civic duty to help provide stability to the Water Company.  Amy shares the same values and concerns of our community, of which our water resource is one.  Although she hopes to retire in the near future, Amy currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of the Columbia Elementary School District and serves 31 schools in Shasta County through the Leading Learning Network.

Chairman of the Board

Don Bickel -Don retired from the San Francisco Police Department. Don and his wife, Kathy, have been married for 55 years and they have been full time residents of our community for the past 21 years. Don is aware of some of the difficulties and politics of the water company of late and feels that it is his duty to serve on the Board of Directors after all these years of living here.

Board Member

Isabel Klopchic- I am a new transplant from the Bay Area after retiring from working for the State as an attorney and maintaining a small law practice. My interest in water management was sparked by the stories told to me by a family member who was a Water Master. I am very interested in water resources, maintaining good quality and reliable water and assisting the community by serving on the Lassen Pine Water Board.

A little history....

Lassen Pines was founded by Doctor Nelson in the 1970's.  He was a Christian man who had a calling to raise money to build a hospital in Africa.  He was able to realize his dream by the money he received from developing the subdivision.  He named the streets of the subdivision after the books of the Bible.
